Daniel has performed and taken lessons from David Russell, Roland Dyens, Sergio and Odair Assad, Pepe Romero among many others. Although his main focus was classical music during his academic years, he has explored other genres such as Latin/World, Cuban/Salsa, Spanish Rock, Rock, Metal, Blues, Nuevo Flamenco, Jazz, Folk, and Singer-Songwriter.​
